Global Knowledge Sharing

An iRAP workshop featured at the FIA Conference Week in Argentina, which hosted delegates from more than 45 FIA clubs from around the world.

The workshop contributed to the strong road safety theme at Conference Week, which also addressed the Make Roads Safe campaign, the Call for a Decade of Action for Road Safety and the first Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety set to take place in November.

Participants in the workshop shared experiences from Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and North America. Worldwide, RAP assessments have been carried out on more than 300,000km of roads.

The Conference Week workshop was complemented with a training session for staff of the Inter-American Development Bank, who will play a vital role in the rapidly developing iRAP programmes in Latin America during the next five years.
